Dear Parents and Carers,
It is amazing how fast things can change. The very quickly developing lock down situation with COVID came fast and moved us quickly into the world of home learning.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our teachers and support staff who have worked so hard over the past few weeks to seamlessly change to home learning. Their genuine care and concern for our entire school community has been uplifting and their commitment to each and every child is to be commended.
I also want to say thank you to all families who have been support our class teams meetings and Friday assembly. It is so wonderful to be able to see our students on a daily basis through the use of technology.
Spelling and Maths Bee Champions
On our last Friday at school before lock down we held our first school Spelling Bee and Maths Bee Finals. I visited every class and held a class spelling and maths bee and I was so excited to see every student in our school have a go. From the class competition, the top three spellers and mathematicians were selected to compete in the Stage Finals. These were held in front of the whole school and it was very exciting to watch. Congratulations to our class finalists
