Dear Parents and Carers,
It is hard to believe that we are now at the end of Term 1! It has been a very busy but productive term for our students and teachers with some wonderful learning happening, both inside and outside of the classroom.
Holy Week
This week is an important part of our Catholic calendar, and today our school celebrated our Holy Week Liturgy which took us through the final days of Jesus’ life and then his resurrection. Easter is a time for renewal and forgiveness, a time for us to spend valuable family time together and to create wonderful memories. I hope during the next few days that you take some time to reflect and rejoice in the joy of the risen Christ.
Easter Hat Parade
Keeping with tradition our students spent some time creating some wonderful Easter Hats and finished off our last day of term with our Easter Hat Parade.

Cross Country
Yesterday we held our Cross Country at school. With the oval being closed by council Mr Knoke had to create a course in our school so we could still hold our day. Thankyou to Mr Knoke and all of our helpers on the day and to Peter MacMillan for cooking the BBQ.
Well done to all students who competed and a special congratulations to our winners.
ANZAC Day
On the 25th of April we will march as a school in the community ANZAC Day commemorations. Students will need to meet Mrs Lapi-an, Mrs Hunt and Mr Buchtmann at the front of our school on Tuesday the 25th of April at 9.00am. The teachers will then walk with students to the RSL club to join the community in the march at 9.15am and the service at 9.45am. Parents will be able to collect their students at the conclusion of the service from the Wingham Town Hall.
Pupil Free Day and Start of Term 2
Monday the 24th of April is a Pupil Free Day. All students will return on Wednesday the 26th of April.
Please join me in a prayer for our school community over Easter, that they find joy and love over this special Easter season.
