Dear Parents and Carers
It has been a much more settled finish to the school than this time last term. I would like to thank you all for your continued support in these challenging times.
At this point in time our current restrictions will remain in place at the beginning of next term with all parents asked to drop off and pick up their students at the school gate. I will keep you up to date in changes to restrictions as they occur.
Pupil Free Day
Don’t forget that Monday the 20th of July will be a Pupil Free day. The first day for Term 3 will be Tuesday the 21st of July.
Home Learning Survey?
Thank you to the parents who completed the Home Learning Survey, this along with the surveys from all students has given us some wonderful feedback on Home Learning. You will have noticed that two of the questions in this survey asked about parent’s preferred method of communication and preferred Homework options. During Week 1 of Term 2 we will work through this data and review our Homework procedures and the Home Learning Period.
Playground Update
Early next term we will begin to work with our teacher and parent group on the playground design. Our plan is to hopefully have the updated playground ready by the end of term if restrictions are lifted. If you are interested in being part of this group, please contact the office.
Have a wonderful break and please join me in saying a prayer of thanks for our school community, without the teamwork of parents, teachers and students our journey over the past term could have been much more challenging.
God Bless

Mary MacKillop Awards – Term 1 and Term 2
This award is presented to one student each term that consistently goes above and beyond to put the needs of others first. This award is founded on one of the most motivating and known sayings of Saint Mary MacKillop “never see a need without doing something about it” (1871). We present this award to someone who follows in Saint Mary’s footsteps by reaching out to the most needy and vulnerable in our school community. Congratualations to Robert Duke and Rani Bushell.
