Prime Minister Award

‘Being a steward of creation’, ‘Trying your best’, ‘Speaking with kindness’ and ‘Being a responsible learner’ are some of the qualities that teachers consider when awarding ‘Prime Minister’ at our weekly assembly. It is an acknowledgement of the student’s efforts and they have the privilege of wearing the badge with honour, of suggesting a focus the school can work on, award Gotchas to other students at lunch time as well as earning Gotchas for themselves. Congratulations goes to Finn Atkins (Week 2).

Baby Congratulations

Congratulations to Ashley Wilson and Grant Burton on the birth of your son, "Frankie John" born 23rd September.  A little brother for very excited Sierra (Year 2).

Crazy Socks Day

On Friday 18th October students wore different and odd socks to school as a way of supporting Crazy Socks Day, in support of Catholic Mission and their Socktober appeal. In 2024, Catholic Mission is raising money to build a homeless shelter for children in Mongolia.

Helping with social justice causes is one area our school prides ourselves in and is an important part of being a Catholic school community. Our Catholic social teachings suggest that we should always help the poor and vulnerable in our community and our world, and our student’s donations certainly do this so thank you for your support with this worthwhile cause.

Whizzy Visit
During our first day back in Term four students from Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2 were treated to a visit from Mid Coast Council's Whizzy the water drop. Whizzy teaches students about safe and responsible water use, correct waste and garbage disposal as well as how students can make better health choices.
Students enjoyed the visit and each received an activity booklet to take home.
